Monitoring

All facilities, connectivity and systems are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Three network operation centers in multiple locations monitor our systems. In addition to active monitoring, system and network thresholds are proactively audited, and preemptive notifications are sent to Network Operations staff 24/7. FileBound On-Demand availability and performance is monitored by 10 different North American locations.

SAS 70 Type II Certified Operation

The FileBound On-Demand operation has achieved the Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) Type II Certification , one of the most stringent auditing standards for technology service providers.  The rigorous requirements for the SAS 70 Type II validate that FileBound delivers an effective operating environment with rigorous processes and controls which ensure the highest standards of security, reliability and availability.   The SAS 70 Type II audit was performed through meticulous reviews and tests of FileBound’s operational processes and controls by leading independent auditor Deloitte & Touche LLP.  SAS 70 is an auditing statement issued by the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The standard defines the professional standards that are to be used by service auditors when assessing  the internal controls of a service organization.  The SAS 70 Type II has become one of the most widely recognized and respected auditing standards for technology service companies.
