FileBound Object Model
The FileBound Object Model is the API for the FileBound system version 5. The FileBound Object Model is built on the .NET 2.0 framework and is compatible with any .NET 2.0 programming environment, such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Although it was written mostly in VB.NET, the compatibility of VB and C# ensures that the components are usable by developers in either language.
The FileBound Object Model provides programmatic access to all functions and features of the FileBound system. In fact, the entire FileBound ASP.NET server, administrative utility, Integration Kit and other core applications were written with their FileBound interaction handled exclusively through this API.
All data is accessed through the FileBound Object Model via objects and collections, making new development and enhancements easy to create and maintain. Most objects are inheritable and are therefore extendable for virtually any purpose.
