FileBound and Fujitsu have teamed up to provide a complete document management solution that removes all of the implementation and adoption challenges that come with other solutions on the market today.  Document management solutions require scanners, a capture application, and a back end system. To drive the complexity and cost out of these systems FileBound and Fujitsu have integrated the fi-6010 network scanner directly with FileBound. This integration delivers a complete solution right out of the box and allows you to avoid the challenges of sourcing and integrating multiple components and software applications.

The Fujitsu fi-6010 is the first scanner that combines the intuitive, easy installation of a desktop scanner with the productivity of a plug and play network device.  The FileBound onboard capture integration allows a user to control all the document scanning and indexing processes directly from the scanner panel.  All the user has to do is simply load their documents into the scanner, select where within FileBound they want to store them, enter the index information, scan the documents and automatically save them into a local or a remotely hosted FileBound system. The FileBound integrated capture for the fi-6010 provides a complete document capture solution without any additional hardware or software requirements.  Alternatively, users can simply load their documents into the scanner and send them directly to the indexing queue of their local or hosted system.  This allows the users to index the documents at a later time, providing a very simple, effective capture solution. 

The integration delivers on the promise of true out-of-the-box document management.
