Data Manager—Easily scan, index, import and upload content to FileBound
Data Manager is a desktop software module that is used to scan, index, import and upload content into FileBound. Data Manager is synchronized with the FileBound server site to provide automated functionality and provide a simple, easy-to-use input device for the user.
While being an affordable, departmental solution, Data Manager has a robust and versatile feature set that includes:
- Scanning using ISIS or TWAIN drivers
- Batch scanning via barcode sheets, blank pages or page counts.
- Complete Index capabilities.
- Full Text or Zonal OCR.
- Importing and uploading of index data, content created by third party vendors and other digital content.
- Uploading into FileBound can be done on-demand or scheduled for a predetermined time.
- Request Manager – allows users of Filebound to request files to be scanned and uploaded for viewing. Data Manager polls the systems for requests and maintains a list.
- Route Manager ties together the scanning process and the workflow pieces of FileBound. Workflows can be defined that have scanning as a step in the route.
- CD/Archive creation that includes all the needed software to create independent media.
